This weekend

Yesterday I ran into Chris Ambrose of Tokion at THECAST who is preparing for The Creativity Now Conference. I must say every year the line up for the Conference gets better and better. If your around make sure to check it out. The Harmony Korine and Mark Gonzales one sounds great. I love Cooper Union as a location, I actually went to school there for awhile, but the auditorium has these huge pillars that block the view of the stage. So make sure to come early and get a good seat.

And next week make sure to check out my friend Wes Lang's show at Zieher Smith

NY

If I don't see you tonight make sure to come to the New York Photo Awards ceremony on Friday so I can say good bye before I leave. My portrait of Robert Altman is nominated in the editorial category.

Saturday I'm off to Los Angeles for McGarry Bowen and then I'll be in SF on the 28th as visiting faculty at S.F.A.I. I'll be back in NY in July.

Topic Magazine 11: Escape

Next Tuesday Topic Magazine is launching their new issue. Topic is great publication and I'm excited to see this one since so many talented people have worked on and contributed to it. Along with the issue is a limited edition set of 50 vacation postcards by artists and writers. My postcard is from a road trip across the middle east with my father. In addition to the postcards I have a portfolio of images from a road trip across America I took with Brendan and Ivan last September.
